THANK YOU Scrub-a-Mutt for your $500 donation to M-DOG
A huge thanks to Scrub-a-Mutt for their amazing $500 donation to Marysville Dog Owners Group. This annual event in August at Strawberry Fields for Rover Off-Leash Park will help M-DOG with fulfill off-leash park capital needs. Hundreds of dogs got the red carpet treatment with a shampoo and wash provided by a hard-working (and wet) core of volunteers, and some added clipped nails to boot, while owners bid on a variety of creative gift baskets. Thanks again to Jennifer Ward, Elizabeth Woche and the entire Scrub-a-Mutt team!

We did it! Strawberry Fields for Rover Off-Leash Park officially open
Marysville Mayor Dennis Kendall and City Councilmembers cut the ribbon on Saturday, Dec. 6 to officially declare Strawberry Fields for Rover Off-Leash Park open for dog lovers and their four-legged friends. On behalf of the Marysville Dog Owners Group, thank you to the some 30 people and 40 dogs who were on hand to put the city's first-ever off-leash park to the test (the feedback has been incredible!) and to Marysville Parks and Recreation officials and hard-working parks maintenance crews that have given dog owners in the area a community asset to be proud of. Visit for yourself! The park features 3 acres of running room to let dogs roam free. To all the volunteers who have given their time at work parties, a very special thanks for the hard effort and commitment. Remember when visiting: Dogs must be leashed while on walking trails approaching the off-leash park.

Marysville Dog Owners Group has an official logo, thanks to the skills of M-Dogger and graphic design expert Jennifer Ward, owner of Pick of the Litter Design in Marysville. She was also instrumental in the Wag 'n Wash dog-washing fundraiser that raised $250 for M-DOG.

The Marysville Dog Owners Group generally meets at 6:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month in the Marysville Public Library Small Conference Room, 6120 Grove St., unless otherwise notified.
